we took a drive up to Pittsfield VT today for a ride on some machine built trails. we hit noodle, labyrinth, war man and fusters to name a few. some great riding to be had here for free, just south of killington. great birms and flow, climbing was just the right pitch with perfect switchbacks.
Such a nice day for it too. Glad you had a good time. Tomorrow there'll be free soup simmering on a fire on the free trails at that very cabin from 2-4 p.m. You provide the bowl and spoon, though.
GMT....wish I had ridden there today.....but did get there earlier in the summer. Love that climb....to the cabin...what a view from the top! Broke my WTB saddle rail, McGuyer'ed it but went up to Green Mtn Cycles after the ride.....to get a replacement saddle.
Yeah, just finished berming out the last corner on Fuster's today. The turns are much smoother and faster. It'll optimize the trail without dumbing it down I'm hoping. The bridge work will probably begin this week sometime.
