    FOMBA and North Conway

    2 part thread:
sorry if this has been discussed. its not a super busy forum.
anyhoo, i've lived in NH for years and just finally rode all of FOMBA! (first time there) my friends never wanted to go because they thought it was busy. and they assumed my girly arse would find it too "relentless" pshhh...wasnt that bad! i had a lot of fun. i had enough fun to bend a rotor. yay.

anyway, i also heard rumors of trails in North Conway (i think) that spans like 50 miles and goes up and down a mountain. is this true?

No, not true. More like 80 miles and 6 mountains

I'm kind of kidding. There are unlimited riding options from the Conway area but many of the hiking trails are not what you're looking for. Plenty to keep you busy for a while though. See you here?

i want to say heard about a specific 50ish mile loop that went up and over a mountain. i'm sure it exists, just not sure of the name of the trail.

Probably involves Red Tail Trail (Black Cap mountain) and the network on the east side of town. Much of it is not on a map although a lot of it is fairly easy to navigate. Local knowledge helps and there are always plenty of people willing to ride and show visitors around.

    Agreed!

We finally visited in early July after years and years of "meaning-to". Place is awsome, tons of riding and people do share the information with visitors. We will definately check it out some more!

Just the mountain itself has plenty of trails to keep busy! No need to cross the road to the west side... altough things are suppose to be great that way!
