    Cove Bikes in New England?

    Hi there,
Looking for a shop that sells/orders Cove bikes, more specifically the HJ.
The crotchedy old man in me will be taking off that sticker off the bike.

I have a 2006 stumpy fsr, loved the ride but have since gone back to a steel hardtail.
Having a hard time selling it (probably asking to much).

Currently riding a 2008 Kona Unit 29er 1x9. Now the stumpy feels too cushy.
Would like a 26 steel hardtail and was told the Cove could handle the FOX shock.

Bottom line is the components are in excellent condition and would like to switch the components to the HJ. FOX Float 120mm, Avid brakes etc.
I will end up selling the stumpy frame and shock.

Live in the Berwick area of Maine and would not mind traveling up to 50 miles or so to buy frame and have the shop switch the components.

    Thanks for the help.

I'd call Cove Bikes direct. BTI used to sell them but now you have to go direct to Cove. Too many US companies to buy from.

Money, I'm in York and drive through Berwick every day....You need to ride with us...not just because I'll let you take a Ridge for a spin, but because you're on the other side of Aggie!

    Hey Tozovr,
Thanks for the invite. Aggie is my usual spot although with all the snow and lack of time at the moment probably won't get out there till the spring.

Hackjobbob, I am looking for a hardtail to transfer as much parts as possible from my stumpy fsr. Those bikes are way too much bike for me. Emails to Cove have gone unanswered, ain't gonna beg em, so I am still looking for a frame.

    thanks

I work with sinister so I always have a few of the bikes around the garage, so you're more than welcome to even come bounce around the driveway etc.

money, sorry. they have funny names and I was just amusing myself. Stiffie, thats another one. anyway, I almost bought a g-spot once and I was going to go thru Jenson USA. Check them out, they probably still carry Cove frames.

Wheel Power in Exeter NH or Bath Cycles in, well, Bath Maine. Both of them have ordered through Cove before.
