Building new trail in Bow Sat 9/28/13

Short notice, but if you would like to help build a new singletrack in Bow, NH this weekend there is a group meeting at the Robinson Rd. town forest lot by 8:30am (about 1 mile up from 3A on the right side of the road). This will be a singletrack to bypass one of the snowmobile trails and has all the blessings of the town/land owners to happen.

4 of us roughed in the 1 mile long new trail and it is ready for tires to help pack it down. There will be some bridges needed and another section 1 mile long has been flagged for future work. There is now about 8 miles of singletrack in the Bow Town Forest. A nice little gem that not too many people know about. Thanks to Matt and Jesse for hooking us up with some tools even though they could not come and work this weekend.

This link is for the Bow Open Spaces website, the Knox Rd. Town Forest map does not have the latest trails on it, but gives you a general idea.

Sorry I couldn't get down there to work with you guys. It sounds like you had a productive day.

I still need to get down there some time to check out the trails!

just found this and would like to know where the single tracks are around with the map you provided.

Also, thank you for volunteering to do that. If I would have known sooner and had the day off I would have. Im starting to like this sport, and the people.
