    X5 shock stroke?

I want to switch my shock from Fox Float to Fox Van on an X5 with 5" rockers. 2.0 or 2.5 inch stroke, does it make any difference? There is a 7.875X2.5 on Ebay. Thanks.

You need a 2" stroke for that bike. Yes, it does make a difference, with 2.5 stroke your tire will slam into the back of your seat-tube.

    Stock takes a 2" stroke.
    5/6 rockers take the 2.25
