    X-5 Build weights

    Would like to build something in the less than 28-30 lbs catagory. Could you guys post your builds and their corresponding weights. Thanks alot have a good week.

    My scale tells me 28.4 lbs.

    Specs are:

    Medium X-5 with quad bearings-fox float w/ propedal
    Fox vanilla fork
    King headset
    Thomson 90mm 5 degree stem
    Easton EC70 Monkeylite xc bar
    Odi lock on ruffian grips
    Thomson Post
    WTB Laser titanium rail seat
    Avid Juicy Seven brakes
    WTB Laserlite disc hubs/ DT Swiss xr 4.1d rims
    Sram X9 triggers
    XT Front der.
    Sram X9 rear der.
    04 XT Cranks

    Mine is at 34lbs, but I went w/ bomber parts instead of worrying about weight. Z1FR, Rhyno Lite XL's, 2.4's Romic and such....

    Below is a picture from Tuesday's ride.

    Z1 is (honestly!) still running original springs and original oil at whatever height Marz filled. I've got some Bel Ray 10wt waiting to go into it, but I'm too fargin' lazy to change the oil!

    Also, I'm trying to decide what fork I'm really going to use... I need a 6" fork up there and want to wait to see all the options -- Fox 36, Marzocchi 66, Manitou Nixon, and, if the rumors are true, Manitou Sherman Firefly 6" with 1.125" steerer.

    My XL X5 w Quad bearing kit and FOK Float Pro Pedal weighed 7.0 lbs even.
