Where did you SoCal / SD guys get your Ventana?

I'm happy to buy online and build up myself, but also like to support the LBS. I am in San Diego and wondering if there are any good dealers. The info on ventanausa seems out-of-date since they still list places like Competitive Cyclist which no longer carries Ventana. Give me the 411, where should I go and why? TIA

The Path in Tustin carries Ventanas. They're in OC not SD county, so I'm not sure who would be closer. Not sure who else does. I'd give them a call.

I got mine from Chad at Red Barn. Good price, good service. He's a LBS, just not close to me!

... and if we just ... Red Barn

I'm in NY and ONLY purchase my bikes from Chad. Currently building #4, although not a Ventana...

Excellent friendly knowledgable service at extremely fair prices...No need to even look elsewhere.

I got mine from the Path. Had to drive up from San Diego as there were no local dealers at the time (2 years ago).

I ordered mine through Ventana. If I had to, I would've drove down to the flatlands and picked up a Path version of the EC

What's the HA on your frame, Vader? Yours was custom, right?

Guess I'll be calling Chad at Red Barn pretty soon here. First up will be a bike for the wife since I finally managed to get rid of her old clunker. My Chucho will come a bit later. Thanks everyone for the advice, much appreciated.

I'll throw in another vote for Chad at Red Barn. I purchased my first Ventana from him and he is super easy to deal with and his prices were the best I could find.
I only ride bikes to fill the time when I'm not skiing.
