    Ventana rigid fork

The fork is no more listed in the accessories section.

Is it still available? How expensive-inexpensive is it?

Can we have it painted to the standard colors?

I know I could call Teresa but it's Sunday and I need an asnwer...I mean I demand an answer!

I don't know if this is an old wives tail but I heard that Sherwood will make just about anything as long as you have the cash. Last I heard they were $250 and colour match was still an option.....not sure if colour match will be an upcharge if you didn't buy the fork at the time of frame purchase.......call Ventana

Thanks, I'd much rather buy a fork from Ventana with a matching Electric red than a Pace of some sort.

    Gotta call then.

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know if Ventana is still offering the carbon fiber road fork?

I emailed Ventana this spring and was told no upcharge for the El Tenedor in any of their standard colors.

I also noticed that it is no longer listed on the Ventana site - let us know what you find out.

Killer forks.....but ding danged lawyers and the insurance companies they represent....

great fork though.....but in todays world of complete carbon forks it's a hard pill to swallow to go back to one inch, and threaded steerer tubes.

Teresa just informed me that Ventana's rigid fork option is officially not being offered in 08'.

Yeah, I was thumbing through a 1996 issue of Dirt Rag and came across a Ventana ad which mentioned the carbon forks.

You can always buy another steel fork and send it to Maas Bros to get painted in a Ventana color. I asked Maas Bros about this a while back & it was fairly cheap. Like $40 or so.

    El Tenedor alternatives

Not only is it not offered for 2008, but it is not even available through the end of 2007. This puts a crimp in my current Padrino project. Does anyone have any recommnedations for replacements, both steel and other? I'd like to replicate the Ventana specs (rake & trail) and look, if possible.

    Any help is appreciated.
