Shark Blue is just some conjured up color......it really doesn't exist as a real color. In fact, your have to prove yourelf a "fan-boy" or "fan-girl" before you're allowed to order this color. My new bike will be Army Green
I see many folded wheels and exploded hubs in my future....

OLD SCHOOL RaceFAce cranks....well 3/4 arms at least. Long story. But suffice to say I didn't feel like dropping over $600 for 'new' cranks that still use square taper bb's and look like they were made 15 years ago....(cough cough MiddleBurn cough cough)
New set of RF rings on the final drive arm.
Surly stainless steel chainrings on the idler gears.
DT FR440 rear hub 36hole laced to a DT FR600 rim
Marz. 20mm frt. hub laced to an old Mavic D521 rim...best heady duty middle weight rim ever produced, dag nab it!
Hope Mono 6Ti brakeset w/stainless braided hose for rear.
Thomson seatposts and WTB saddles. (yeah, the stoker post is a GD but that's just in there until the other Thomson shows up).
Tioga Psycho Genius tires. Interested in trying these out. Look like good rolling all around tires. Beefy sidewalls=good for tandem use.
FSA Orbit MX headset.

Is it an optical illusion, or does the pivot bolt have very little thread engagement? It seems like I can see a lot of unused threads in the chainstay. Usually, you want the thread engagement (in aluminum) to be at least 1.5 times the screw diameter...so if it's a 10mm screw, you'd like 15mm thread engagement.
What a bummer. Saturday was beautiful, but was working.
Had a chance to take big Blue out Sunday. But the rains hit and my stoker wasn't too stoked about the rain and canceled on me. Still took chucho out for some mud fun, but the tandem stayed clean and dry at the shop.
Skiing next weekend. So hopefully get her dirty in a few more weekends.
