    rear shock el rey

    what size rear shock do i need for a 2010 el rey?

    7.875 X 2.25? I'm almost positive that for the El Rey the answer is no, the Seat stay brace will come in contact with the seattube.

    Correct, 2.25" travel won't work. With the 2" shock, the seat stays will leave a 1mm gap between the seatstay brace and the seat tube. You'll put a considerable dent in the seattube when you up the travel of the shock.
