    Something to throw the new parts on . . . .

    I have been wanting to try the new XTs ever since they were announced--I have been riding Maguras (Louises) for a while and while I like the power they provide, I have always felt that Shimanos have beter modulation. We'll see.

    i take it that is a F29 fork? I assume El Rey?

    Will those levers work with the old 4 pot XT calipers?

    yes, though you will need an insert and olive depending on the connectors that your old levers have

    Yeah, realized the F29 sticker was missing from the foto after I posted. I really dig the look of the fork.

    Not an El Rey (I wish), will post why later, with pic. Eagerly waiting for Brown Santa to show at work right now.

    if not an El Rey, a Patron / Comandante I presume? Why do you "wish" it was an El Rey?

    Because I Like the El Rey? Great bike.

    Brown Santa was a no show (should have picked it up myself). It is an El Padrino. Will be running the fork at 80mm. Long travel forks are overrated .
