    New Toy

I should have a full install and performance review by the end of the week, but it sure does look cool.

I've looked at that system and will be curious to hear your results although I've had no problems running a Heim.

That is what I am using now. I wanted something that actually used the ISCG tabs instead of a "sandwich" styled guide. I really like the Heim, but the fact that it is thinner than a regular spacer make spacing and bearing preload a pain with Race Face cranks. (I have some XT's on the way too) Mark @ Wicked was pretty cool to talk to...so I figured...why not try one out? It was either this or the E13 DRS, but I liked the overall design of the Wicked better.

Larry & I have tried several different ISCG guides on my Moto with XT crankset and all had interference issues. Check your fit carefully.

I have no idea since I don't recall Tscheezy recommending it.

Mark Reynolds (Wicked Racin') passed away yesterday at Sea Otter.
Prayers/condolences go out to him and his family.

I have been working with Mark over the past couple of weeks to get a review together for his guide. He was a great guy with a true passion for the sport. He will be missed.

From what I've read, it sounds like he had a heart attack while riding a course? Is that right?

Correct. The ha caused a bad wreck off the bridge which included a hard chest impact too from what I understand as of right now.

Was he in poor health? Kind of "odd" to hear about a fellow mountain biker having a cardiac incident.

Not that I am aware of.
