    New El Comandante

I've been riding this gem of a bike about a month now and I LOVE it! I could not be happier with the quality of the build. She climbs like a mountain goat and the descent is smooth like butter.

Very nice custom, saw it when it was posted on Ventana's Facebook, looks good complete. Congrats. Where you worried about Crank Flex? That's some seriously beefy cranks for an SS!

Wow, that looks good. I assume that is the top tube from an El Rey?
I only ride bikes to fill the time when I'm not skiing.

Beauty. Love mine. So much so I can't justify carbon or titanium.

Looks great. I like the curved top tube a lot more on your bike than on the FS bikes.

I like the look of the top tube but the extra inch or so of space takes a beating from the shifters/brake levers when you crash. No matter what I did I couldn't clear that top tube. I had to run my shifters almost hand tight to they would break free when they smashed into the top tube. Yes, I tried NOT crashing. Didn't work. I only crashed more.

Ha! not super worried about crank flex, but we had these cranks already in the garage and I wanted to get the bike built ASAP. Not too mention it's always nice to recycle, I feel like I've done my green task for the month
