    Lizard skins - size?

So: What size of Lizard Skins chainstay protector do I need for my El Ciclón? Does anyone know?

    Thanks.

i'd just wrap an old tube around it. Personally I think it looks more stealth and doesn't slide around

That would be the sensible thing, but when building a top notch bike like the Ciclon, it's a little cooler (Hey, at least I'm honest about my bike vanity! ) to use top shelf parts only. A cut up innertube strapped to the seatstay doesn't exactly fit into the vision of my Ventana.

haha i understand . someone on the SC forum recently did a nifty shrink wrap sleeve job on their nomad that looks smooth.. one of my LBS puts on perforated roadbike bar wrap which looks nice too.

Looks good. Do you think the shrink tube is wide enough to get over the rear dropout of a Ventana?

On my salty I used a clear plastic tube I purchased from the hardware store. It did a good job protecting the chainstay while showing the silvery color through it.
