who cares what we think? dont be a sheep and go with what other people think...if you do, your bike will converge to every other bike cuz people are too insecure to ignore the masses and you will end up with thomson, shimano everywhere possible with a WTB saddle. I like it, which may be a good or bad thing

But what type of saddle is it? Who cares what it looks like? If it's comfortable and tough, it's the best saddle out there for you.

I use WTB Laser (on my mtn bike) and it's not too bad but I have to tilt it down too much and a Brooks on my roadbike. I'd put a Brooks on my mtn bike and try it but that leather is so slippery that I'd be sliding all over the place. I wish I could find a saddle that I don't have to tilt down as much as the WTB.

I am all about the Fizik Aliante, great saddle but people rave about the Devo which I wouldn't mind demoing.

the saddle is such a matter of personnal taste and need that I couldn't help you chose.

I also liked a Spesh saddle but couldn't remember which.

It does sound very close to Diva

However, I'm all for trying out a new seat. I'll have to go check one of these out soon. I may also try the Specy Phenom since I like the way it's designed, especially since they have a return policy. I have too many like-new expensive seats sitting around.

justa- for what it's worth- I personally think it looks good. It also is unique and almost looks like leather or antique leather from a distance. My WTB looks like a million others saddle but then again, I don't care either way as long as it is comfortable.

It will be less unique if I like it and buy one though.

I think the more important question is:

How it is that every time you post a pic of your bike there is no dirt on it?

I could not find the saddle but I only did a Yahoo search. I'll keep looking since it has been getting some really good reviews and doesn't sound like it is too expensive.

I figured by your use of the words "bloody hell" that you lived on the other side. I grew up using phrases like that and when I do, my GF looks at me and says "you know, you're not British"

Damn, that is cheap. Too bad even Chainreaction doesn't carry it.

Wow, Nothing wrong with showing what you got or asking for opinions. No shame in having a bike with any of those aforementioned components either. FWIW, I dig that saddle, very smoothe looking. Comfort is key though.

I actually like the saddle. I say run it...especially if it is kind on the hind quarters.

I'll forgive you for the muddy road bike pic.

perhaps, but should compliment the quad bearings to make the bike even stiffer

only used it a couple of times...

Had the 07 Laurin before and that was very plush and stiff,

changed it as I didn't like the remote lever and I prefer just a normal lock out

the 08 version was also 180g lighter...
