How many new Bruja's are/were made?

I keep checking in on this forum hoping to see some "Sex on 'Roids" and am disappointed I never see the Witch. In fact I've only seen maybe 2-3 posted up here ever. Are they rarer than I think? How many were made?

There's also the perception that if it's not on this website than it doesn't exist!
How many have been made? I know of at least 6 and only 2 have made it on MTBR.

I forgot to ask Sherwood this question on our ride last night, cuz I was curious myself.

But I wouldn't be surprised to here less than 20. A)Ventana's in General are boutique (Small production #'s) and B) Nuevo Bruja is very Niche frame within that Boutique brand

Even I will not be buying a new one, I will go with El Terremotto when the time comes to replace my witch! (And may that not be for a long, long time!)

I'm considering moving from Terremoto to Bruja to help create more niche separation from my Sultan.

    old bruja #

somewhat off topic here, but i was totally surprised to find out there were only 51 of the original Bruja's made, which made me feel even luckier to know i got my hands on one.
it took about 4? years to make that many.

I believe Sherwood told me that there were about 75 of the old Brujas made.

At last check 52..Chad (Red Barn) got the last New Front Tri.

The production run was limited by the BB/Main Pivot structure and the Rear Tri's.
He ran out of those and didn't make anymore.

And I don't blame him, cuz both the BB Structure and the swing arm yokes are 8-Way Machine parts. That meant he had to move the part manually 8 times to produce. Extremely time consuming and expensive. I have a swingarm yoke as a Business card holder in my office, great conversation piece. Especially when I tell how it started out as a 13 lbs, yes 13lbs block of Alu!!

Thanks for the pics! I really like the new one much more than my old one, great evolution.

So are the new ones only made on a per-order basis?

Wow that's very cool...and to think I have 3.85% of original Bruja's in the garage. They still bring a huge grin every chance I get to ride them.

I believe(don't quote me!) they've done a small production of the new frames and have them hanging on the wall. Now that the heat treat and powder is in-house it give them much more flexibility to leave them unpowdered until the order comes in and then powder/assemble/ship real fast.
