    Future Ventana

Hey any thought to a DW Link on the Ventana line? I sure like it on my Turner and would love to give the biz to a Sweet NORCAL company Just a thought. I have had all 3 versions of the Turner 5 Spot and without any hesitation the DW link flat out rules. Cant help but think how sexy the big "V" would be with the DW!

    DW-link on a Ventana? Now there's a fresh idea!
Since when did Need have anything to do with this?

I heard if you you pedal backwards on a fixed gear DW bike it creates a minute singularity. Don't do it!
Stupid, but sometimes witty. Occasionally brilliant. Slow and fat though.

Various reasons will be proffered: 1. Not laterally stiff enough. 2. Sherwood has already found the "perfect location for his pivot" (despite his apparent new location in this next generation of bikes) 3. Doesn't want to pay licensing fee.

I agree with you however. DW would be great (for me) because it suits my riding style best. Others here will vehemently disagree.
My presence would be the equivalent of painting lamb's blood on your frame, causing the "angel of crash" to nail me instead.

I would say keep your eyes out for the 2012 Ventana El Pequeños Lazos. I already paid a deposit for the first frame. I would like to try a Turner or Pivot but their top tubes are just too short.....seriously an XL Flux should have a 25 inch top tube.

My money is that the new pivot location will be just a little further up the ST from where it is today to line the chain up with the larger rings of the various 2x10 stuff available....
