    El Commandante Ultimate

Does anyone have the El Commandante Ultimate frame? Like the idea of the option of going SS or geared. Post some pics if you got 'em. And kudos to the customer service at Ventana. They're very fast on replying to emails.

I've got two! One SS and the other 1x10. Great frame! I'll post some pictures this afternoon.

    the difference is...

The Ultimate version has cables stops so you can run it geared if you want to.

    EC Ultimate

Here's mine, had it since Christmas - very nice bike. Haven't tried the belt yet, but it goes back and forth between SS and 1x10

I like it. Nice and stiff under power, not what I would call harsh but not flexy in any way either. I really like the handling with the 100mm fork.

I lost my photos for a little while. I've had this since Jan and love it. The only place that I'd rather have something else is in the rock gardens. 5.5" of suspensions makes a big difference, even on a 26" bike. I've finally run the tubeless tires low enough to have a soft ride with lots of grip. The hand warmers are gone now that spring is here.

    Good luck!

Not sure if mine is an ultimate

but it has gear stops, belt drive and hanger (I ran 1x9 through the summer). Great bike.

Only possible change is a Left Speed XLR down the line I think.

    Belt drive

Sounds like you do have the Ultimate. How do like that belt drive?
