    El Comandante Torque values ?

Looking for the proper torque values for the two main dropout bolts and the bolt the swinging dropouts pivot on.

Gonna x-post on the singlespeed website...

Don't think that what they list in that chart is the same as the bolts for my droupouts ... good to see you at Graham today.

I'll give a call to Ventana since nobody 'round here seems to know

Got the answer direct from SHerwood when I called today...

110-120 fro the two main bolts.

    90 for the pivot bolt.

    Useful info, but Ft-lbf, right?

I cranked hard on the pedals last weekend while trying to climb out of a creek 60 miles into a 67 mile ride. Non drive slide slipped, wheel started rubbing the chain stay and bent the chain. Eventually broke the chain twice, but 2nd break happened about 300 feet from car.

    Inch pounds, I think.
Anyway, after torquing them down to the proper specs, I ealized how much I have been over tightening them.

Now we'll see how they behave when I ride later.
