*Reply by FoShizzle when I told him how awesome my new El Comandante rides.
This is the first new hardtail that I've owned since about 1995, and it's awesome. I built it up for doing fast XC riding with a local club and it delivers in spades.
It's built up mostly out of parts that I had lying about from a build I aborted when somebody made me too good of an offer on a Niner MCR frame. When I finally decided to get serious about a hardtail again, I made a call to Teresa, and after a couple of conversations to work out a few details and a little tiger blood in the powdercoat, I ended up with my El Paulmandante Ultimate.
I'll post the specs. on the setup thread.

Nice. Had mine for about two weeks. Haven't been on my other bikes. I have to post pics soon.
I was there, at "V" and saw that thing before it left the shop. Everyone was wondering if the TT was long enough to fit all those letters on it! "El Comandente Ultimate"

It's Mercedes Blue. The full build spec is here.

Now ride the crap out of it!
