    5th element lasted 5 rides :(

Seems my rebound is toast. Shock refuses to bounce back once it goes thru its travel. Back to Progressive its goes.

GreenGiant assuming you are reading this how did your rebound feel once you received your 5th? Meaning mine for example never really gave me a fast rebound at all even when the rebound knob was at its fastest, nothing fast enough that would kick my off my saddle. I thought it just needed breaking in but obviously I meant just to break period.

Oh well put the fox float r(non propedal) that came stock on the frame and pedaling really seems to suffing in the big ring. Though now my front and rear suspension seems to be more in tune with each other. A nice 15mile burn today and the bike actually felt better in the real rough stuff but once it got flat or slightly inclined and already missed the 5th.

No biggie I'll just get stronger in the next couple of weeks.

Rebound was fine, but I've got a seal problem.

Though, when I first got mine the schrader valve on the main chamber was bent from the factory, so it wouldn't fill of course. I fixed that myself.

Rebound is still working, though I'm loosing air somewhere right now. I'm going to check the valves, but I fear it is from the main seal. It was squeeking a lot on my last ride, checked air pressure afterwords and it was way down. Now it seems to loose pressure after it fully rebounds after a compression.

It will be going back to 5th this week. Rides great when it works.

Put the Romic back on, more plush of course, but not as effecient.

My recommendation right now for riders building a salty or x5 up XC - get the float pro-pedal. It's 90% as plush as the Romic, and is 85% or so as effecient as the 5th, depending on 5th set-up.

5th had about 100 miles on it.
