1. ## 5.5 rockers and 2" stroke shock = how much travel?

I sent in my CCDB for a rebuild and the only coilover laying around was a custom Romic. It's the right i2i but with only a two inch stroke. It feels like 4.5 inches, and it's quality travel. The bike feels snappy and I might have Romic install a 2.25 shaft at a later date. I think I need the leverage ratio for my travel math. I searched the site but didn't find this rocker/travel/stroke question asked.

i believe you're getting about .61" of travel less than the correct 2.25 in. shaft travel shock. don't quote me since i've been drinking hot butterered rum for the past 2 hrs., but i think i'm in the ballpark.

3. 5.3"

4. 2/2.25 * 5.5" = 4.88" (that's 0.61" less)

5. ## checking shock size

Is the standard shock on my 2009/10 El Capitan- 7.8 x 2 (200 x 50) or 7.8 x 2.25 (200 x 57)? It has 5 inch rockers but I understand it uses the same length shock.
Cheers
