Great video.....slot machine appears to be a cool trail that could cause some serious rash if your touched off the edges.

    July 4th escape..

Got in a quick Solo jaunt on the rocks of Granite Bay. Nice to ride in the morning during the week.

One photo, before my batteries died.

4th of July ride - West Los Angeles

So, its the 4th of July, its not supposed to be drizzling and foggy, right? Well, light drizzle, plus dusty, dry, summer time SoCal trails equal a mess. Anything facing forward... down tube, head tube, bars, legs, arms, face, body, is now covered in black sloppy goo.

Those that know me, know I was not happy with that situation.

I might need a trade-in, or at least a frame refurb!

Threw together a little something this weekend. My attempt to bring some Ventana goodness to the midwest.

Thanks. I'm hoping to start a community around these parts of Ventanaphiles. I figure the time is right to start/support a movement of buying things your neighbor makes. If it costs too much, then you don't need it at the moment. Save until you can support quality, leading edge, US designed, sourced, and made kit Until we change our national mindset to supporting ourselves (or those that support us) we are doomed to mediocrity. Unfortunately it is nearly impossible to build a 100% US made bike but one can make an effort. Thank you Sherwood and Teresa and all of the Ventana employees I've never heard of. I hope to sell many of these bikes.

It's the stock 2012 Ciclon color, I think Cosmic Orange. I didn't upgrade. I only wish I had more time to ride it.

Fun weekend up at Big Bear, CA / Snow Summit - Aug 3 - 6, 2012. Not the amount of trails at Mammoth, or Tahoe / North Star, but close to home.

Had a small crew of peeps meet up, ride, eat, enjoy some tasty drinks over 3 days. Got a little rain - thunder showers one afternoon.

Road part of the SART trail on Sunday.

    Racing Into Fall

Even here in SoCal the leaves are beginning to yellow and fall. From today, Sullivan Cyn, West Los Angeles.

Upper 80's in Los Angeles today, it was a little warmer than I would have liked, but the views were ok! Exercised the El Salt today.
