    Winter Trip?

    For all of us that live in the top 2/3 of the US; where are you going for some riding this winter??

    I知 hoping this is the year I get a full week in Phoenix. I値l probably hit Sedona at some point also. I really like both places and look forward to them as soon as the cool down starts in CO.

    Insert the one mediocre image I could find of a past trip;

    Looks like I'll be in Jamaica the first week of January, there any tour operators that offer "real" rides.

    I spend all summer dreaming of biking in Colorado or up in Oregon (where its cooler) but then when everywhere else gets cold I can be at a trail head in 10 minutes here in Phoenix. I'm planning on going down to Tucson this winter to ride a bit down there for my vacation. Race the 24hrs in Old Pueblo in february then hangout to hit a few more trails.

    here is a Sedona shot for yall, I love that place

    Sedona for the month of January. Grand Canyon for a few days at the first of February, (depending on weather conditions.)

    There are no operators I know that offer real mtn bike tours. STAY AWAY from the Blue Mtn tours offered at the tour desks.

    My buddy and I developed a lot of the trails in Ocho Rios and St. mary. he is an optician and works full time and I moved to Tampa. Other than during the Jamaica fat Tire festival, there are few opportunities to ride unless you bring your bike along.

    The 8ish Days of Christmas is Tucson's free MTB fest. Between Christmas and New Years there are daily rides on the over 300 miles of local singletrack from the desert to the mountains. From curvy Fantasy Island to tech Brown Mountain and Milagrosa the rides will cover the area with variety.
    Tucson's winter days average in the 60's.
    Search TucsonMTB.com. as the holidays approach.

    Sedona

    Even with more snow in Sedona than home (GJ) it still felt like a winter getaway!
