Whistler is out...help me find a place in....

So I was planning a July trip to Whistler however my RCI plan didn't have anything available during the week I am off. So now I need some suggestions. I will either head to Colorado or Tennessee. I have a novice skill set when it comes to riding and would like to bring my bike. Where would you recommend I head to in those areas....some MUST ride trails.

If you go to TN be sure to ride Raccoon Mt, 5 points, Tanasi, and the Pinhoti in North GA. All of these are within an hour and a half of Chattanooga. Also, the Crash Pad is a great place to stay.

Eastern Tennessee with day trips into Western NC and North Georgia is a great idea. Tsali is an awesome trail system in NC worth checking out, its about 3 hrs from Chattanooga.
