Where are you going in 2012?

Got any big trips planned? Tell us about them....

    Our goals:

    1) Fruita in late April for their MTB festival

    2) 10 day road trip to Park City with a stopover at Thhunder Mtn on the way home in July

    3) Moab - Outerbike in October

I've never been to any of these places to ride MTB's so I'm pretty stoked!!

NOW, the 8-ish Days of Christmas (or Chanukah) MTB festival in Tucson.
In early June may hit southwestern Colorado from Cortez (Sand Canyon Trail and Phils World) to Durango (Molas Pass-Engineer Mtn) to the trails around Pagosa Springs. Then up to Penatente Canyon singletrack. May co-ordinate it with the Pagosa Folk and Bluegrass Festival 6/8-10 as that timing is perfect. Hotter than hell here and before the monsoons arrive.

This summer we're staying in Nantes for a week.
We wanted to get in some touristy stuff, but also go on a few bike tours, preferably cross country. The BF and me are still pretty new to MTB but we want to challenge ourselves. So if you could recommend tracks of intermediate difficulty, that would be grand

I was gonna post this as a thread, but the internet wouldn't let me
    Still fits, right?

Staying local in CA. this summer, but plan to do 1 week in Mammoth and as many weekends at Northstar and Mr. Toads. Oh yeah, Downieville too.

Bend Oregon might be in the cards for a long weekend in September.
That still doesn't seem too bad!
