    Moab in June

I'm taking a road trip this June and one of my stops is in Moab, UT. I have never been before and would like some advice on where to ride for a full day. I plan on only being there for a day so I would like to be able to take full advantage of that ride by seeing and enjoying as much as Moab has to offer in a short time.

I plan on camping out close to the trails.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Whole enchilada minus Burro pass ( will still be snow at Burro).

Any tour company can drop you at hazard county.

You are gonna sweat. Often near 100 then. If you want to stay cool ride on the LaSalle Mountains (Burro Pass) and the trails there. Utah has many high altitude trails, just not many others near Moab. Check out Skyline Drive if you have the time. Or Fish Lake, Brianhead or the VRRT (Virgin River Rim Trail) which are all in central or western Utah.
Otherwise farther east are the many cooler options in Colorado.
Personally, I prefer the trails near Gooseberry Mesa and Little Creek to Moab but I hate the heat. Rainbow Rim is 8000'. Easy trail but amazing views.
