My wife and I are going on a short vacation next month to New Hampshire, and are still ironing out all the details. We are looking to stay (likely camping) in the North Conway area, probably someplace along the Kanc if I have my way. As far as mountain biking goes, I would call myself an "intermediate" skill level rider, but my wife is very much a newbie with only a few short rides under her belt, who still struggles with keeping the bike on a winding trail, even when it's not very technical and we're taking it real slow. I've ridden a number of trails in this region back in the late 90s, when I was about 12, and tackled them without much difficulty on a rigid Trek 800. But I'm not sure what this region still has to offer nearly 2 decades later, and I'm hoping someone here can recommend some easy rides that my wife and I can enjoy together and are close by to where we will be staying.
Oh, and biking aside, if anyone has any must-do attractions or activity suggestions for things to check out while we're up there, I'm all ears!
