    European tour company suggestions

I'm currently living in Germany at the moment and would like to explore more european mountain biking opportunities while I'm here. So far all of my riding has just been in Germany and I'd like to venture out and explore. The plan is to take a week or long weekend and stay in a hotel, using it as a base camp to ride out or shuttle to trails. Hotel because I'd rather sleep at night in a real bed and the breakfasts are usually hearty.

With that said, can anyone recommend a mountain bike tour company that operates in Europe and preferably, speaks english. Website linky and personal anectodes welcomed. Yeah, I can use google and get results but I'd rather get first hand knowledge from mtbr'ers.

    TIA

    Try Croatia

My suggestion does not include any professional organizer. First, decide if you prefer climbing uphill or longer road rides.
If you choose the first possibility motorways can bring you to Otočac http://www.tz-otocac.hr/ and then continue to Krasno polje http://www.senj.hr/krasno/index.html . This village is a good starting point for rides in the National park Northern Velebit http://www.np-sjeverni-velebit.hr/no..._eng/index.htm , visits to the Adriatic coast, bear orphanage Kuterevo etc.
If you like to ride longer distances on flat ground stay in Otočac and explore Plitvice lakes, Gospić and Nikola Tesla memorial museum, Josipdol, Ogulin etc .
There is a very nice club of friendly cyclists in Otočac http://barkanbike.wordpress.com/ and try to contact them for more advice.

I recommend to have a look on Hungary. There are nice trails, reasonable prices and there's a new tour operator www.mtbtourhungary.com.
