    11 days, Illinois to Colorado

So my buddy and I are heading out to CO on June 30th for 11 days. Our top two choices of riding so far will be Fruita, Crested Butte and Monarch Crest. Is trail 401 usually ridable by July 4th? What are some other must hit destinations? We will be camping the entire time as well. Any general tips on a plan of attack here?

There's a good chance neither the Crest or 401 will be in riding shape that week. Both mountains had a LOT of snow this year. Hit me up if you want to ride in Fruita, we have a few group rides through out the week. Where are you coming from in IL? I moved out from the north Suburbs about five years ago.

Here's two links which might help with trail conditions. We had a lot of snow this year in the mountains so snow is still melting.
