    Stolen yeti4x and turner 6-pack!!!

Soo pissed! A couple of crackheads came to my house (SLC) and stole some **** including 2 of my loved ones:

    My yeti 4x andTurner 6pack...

The turner has now a lyric fork and a gravity dropped seatpost.

I think they should get caught anytime (cops has already they licence plate thanks to some friends who spoted them) but just in case keep an eye out!!!

    Thank you!!

    Mani.

I always wondered what I would do if that happened to me.

I read one post in the Yeti forum, about a stolen bike - the guy found his bike when the crooks put the bike for sale - so maybe watch craigslist and KSL.com and such. Pawn shops seem like likely spots too...but I can't think of an easy way to track them, not like they have web sites.

    good luck

    Mani, that sucks man!

I should tell you, this is Utah, and they're probably tweakers, not crackheads. If it's any solace, tweakers are pretty dumb and between me and my buddies we've had three bikes, a Toyota and a Volvo SUV stolen - all were recovered, most by seeing then in our own damn neighborhood! Check Craig's list. One of my friends found his stolen cruiser on there, set up a time to "go look at it" as a potential buyer and promptly stole it right back. Good times. .

I'll keep my eyes open. And I swear it wasn't me - though I've been eyeing that Yeti. . .

bummer mani. i will keep my eyes open too.

i have heard of alot of garages being opened and bikes stolen in my area too(a bit north of you).

a couple months ago somebody put a screwdrive to my truck door and got in just long enough for my dog to jump the six foot fence. she caught the guy as he started running from the truck and tore a big patch of pants off his rearside. cops got blood dna from the torn patch too.
she got a steak dinner that night.
