St George - Where to night ride ?

Currently in St George on my latest MTB trip

And almost had an irate local calling the cops on me after I got back to my SUV after dark at the Anasazi Trailhead

Where else in area would be good for night riding - but without any parking hassle ?

Any group night rides in ST George I could tag along on ?, I'm leaving ST George on Thursday to head up to Grand Junction

Off to ride Jem -> Hurricane -> Goulds -> Jem now

Bearclaw Poppy / Stucki Sprngs would be a great night ride. Light clay colored soil, not too techy, easy off-road parking.

A shorter "in-town" option would be Paradise Canyon. Park at the Chuckawalla trail head on Bluff Street just north of Snow Canyon Parkway. Mildly techy, though the fast downhill section might be sketchy at night. YMMV depending on your night-riding skillz.

The Bearclaw Poppy trail would be my vote, too. It's even fun with just the light of a full moon if you ever have a clear, moonlit light.
{Principal Skinner} Hmm. Whoever did this is in very deep trouble.
    {Martin} And a sloppy speller too. The preferred spelling of 'wiener' is w - i - e - n - e - r, although 'e - i' is an acceptable ethnic variant.
