We were on this trail on Sunday the 13 in the early am and it was very very muddy on the north side.
However there were people that had rode it the day before in the afternoon and they said it wasn't nearly as muddy.
Not sure how that is possible because we havn't had any rain in a week or two. So the freezing and thawing might have something to do with it.
Actually the whole bearpoppy trail system is a mess and I wouldn't recomend it.
Try the Zen trail, it's in the same area kind of, you won't regreat it.

Churchrocks is great too.
It's actually clearing up and getting sunny down here right now. I'd guess Green Valley is ridable, but it's almost always ridable. Church Rocks can get a little wet sometimes, but it's not too bad once you get on the loop.
I think the temp. today is something like 55-60 degrees. Not a cloud in the ceiling.
Goose was fantastic on Saturday. We hit the trail at about 10:00am. Mike Curiak from Grand Junction, and his buddy Brian from San Diego were my riding partners. We spent the day just playing and exploring. Mike knows that place better than I do, and he showed me a bunch of new lines.
