    Ogden area trails after rain?

    in Ogden for the day with a few hours to kill, wondering if anything would be rideable? Thanks in advance

    I'm on the Ogden bench and we had a ton of rain. It will probably be muddy. I,d wait till at least the end of the day, but tomorrow would be better.

    Ended up spinning a few miles on the bonneville shoreline trail. Good draining, granitic soil with only a couple of small puddles to contend with. Great trail for a wet day.

    I'd urge people to stick to the shoreline trail north of 12th street after rain. It sheds water much better than the trail south of 12th st. and is made up of more granulated rock than organic dirt.
