Fairly certain they were sold at Pederson's all over the valley before they went out of business.
Kinda sucks when you own one and also have to transport on top of your Saturn huh?

Almost as bad as when you have to transport it on top of your oldsmobile.

Bikepedia lists models from 94-96, but they may have been before/after that. Sold only in sporting goods stores, but had a few decent models at the time.

MTN TEK was an in house brand of Pedersen's. Before the days of Mountain bikes they had a road brand they called Olympia.
