Sadly, I've seen a deuce in the middle of the trail (complete with tp) down there too. Not sure why they can't step off 20 feet and go behind a juniper.
I'm looking forward to regretting this.......

I will bet you $100 that was left in the middle of the trail, on purpose, by hikers.

How many of you carry tp in your camelbak/bottle cage?
Don't buy all the lies that they feed ya.

thought about that. But who goes hiking at gooseberry? Not sure I've ever seen a hiker out there, and I think that "following the dots" while hiking would really suck.

Re: shovel. This was a mostly slickrock section. Still could have gone off trail.

I actually carry tp in my camelback for a TRUE emergency. So far I haven't had to use it. And I'd for sure get off the trail.

Seen plenty of hikers on Goose...there are some nice hikes up there that use some doubletrack segments we seldom use.

Unfortunately I have seen BY FAR more D'bag mountain bikers up on Goose than hikers. How about all the "I'll just make my own camping spot by crushing a bunch of sage...it'll grow back in 20 years" or "Lets leave our campfire going while we ride" better yet....."those open flame/fire bans CANT POSSIBLY apply to us"......and the list goes on and on and on..... I've seen a biker taking a s#hit right in the white trail parking lot...I honked the horn about ten feet from him while he pinched it off and gave him a doggy poo bag and made him pick it up.

Again....mountain bikers behaving badly is the problem, not hikers.

You should have NOT have given him a poop bag and still told him to pick it up. With his teeth.

Only a sick bastard sh#ts on the trail, secretly getting their rocks off dreaming of some poor sucker splashing through it at a later time and having it spray all over their Sidis... S.O.B!!
