Rode up Colin's, Rob's Ambush (I think that's the sequence) up toward the Mid Mountain Trail. 4.1 miles up, about 1400 feet of climb, you go into the woods to a left turn that has a snow bank and downed trees blocking. Beyond that, it's pretty much unrideable. Up until tha, though, it's dry, so the trails below it should be good.
We went higher and cut out a few of the easier trees. The snow will be gone in a few days but until a chainsaw crew gets in there it will remain unridable in areas, particularly the spot you mentioned with 4 trees on top of each other.
there are raging rivers every now and then past that, where there used to be dry gullies on mid mountain. you are gonna need lots of rope or a long pole volt......
ride ambush to hollys and you can see some of the rivers down stream.
Trees have been removed, now good to Murdock Bowl.
