    The Bob Sled

Has anyone ridden the bob sled lately? I have a friend in town until Sunday and want to take him over there Saturday, but don't want to go if it is a muddy, mirky, slippery mess. How is it?

    Thanks.

Road it yesterday.... there is a 100+ yard section of a small stream towards the top/middle. Other than that it is dry. So you will get a little dirty going down, but still well worth it. It doesn't affect they way it rides at all, ie. won't make it slippery.

It will probably be OK saturday. I rode it this weekend and there are still a few damp spots, but nothing soupy or gloopy or anything like that.

Bobsled update: Rode it sunday (04/27) evening and it's fun, as always.

The first turns are wet (maybe 500') but you can stay on the walls so apart from getting your frame muddy as you switch from one wall to another there's no lasting damage to the trail IMO. The jumps are all good. The car-jump landing is a little blasted on the left but not so's you'd notice. Some model citizen has built a little ladder drop about 2/3 down where you cross the road and spiced things up a (little) bit.
