    Bad day

The 2nd round of the intermountain cup is that day in hurricane so alot of people will be down there. I think there will be a better turnout if you move it back a week.

    Good day!

Even I can get to that one. We can all go to the Aveda Salon after we're done for a makeover. . . just throwin' that out there. . .

Ask for Seth, he looks like Alex Van Halen and does a great job with short hairstyles.

Regarding dates: Hell, move it forward, move it back. You're never going to get everybody there. I think the current date is great.

So far I have dug up:

Gravity wheelset, 135mm rear, 20mm TA front, New
FSA K-Force Light 2x9 MTB crankset, New
Xpedo Look-Style pedals with Ti spindles, Excellent
Shimano XTR crankset, Worn but Good
Shimano XTR rear derailleur, RAPIDRISE! woot. Worn but Good.
    Orbea Orca carbon fork, Excellent
WTB seatpost, 27.2mm, Worn but Good
    RaceFace XC stem, 70mm, Excellent
LX Front Derailleur, top/bottom pull, topswing, New

Will likely also have a collection of FSA/Gravity stems and maybe a complete Orbea Lanza 29er singlespeed. None of the new stuff will be priced above BTI wholesale price and the rest will be much lower! Is this kinda like Spam? Sorry

Very cool.. I have a sweet M2 S-Works MTB red in XL, geared townie/fast as a single speed commuter, mustache bars, and less than 20 lbs... Then all sorts of junk, handlebars, stems, and at least a half dozen tires in new shape that I never used from one reason or another

Gonna keep editing as I find more stuff myself
    brand new egg beaters
2 sets Panaracer Fire FR 2.4 tires, WTB moto raptor, Kenda Slash 2.3,
    Brand new Fox bike gloves
    RaceFace chainring set, new

Think I'll bring a bike tuning stand too (not for sale), and possibly Brown Sugar our '77 camper van for shits and giggles and a place for Carrie to crash if she's tired

I'll be the tall guy with the big brown van I suppose!

I, too, have a crate o' crap. Though I think I might throw most of it into JMHs pile...

Also getting rid of a Trek Liquid with newish parts. You know you want it...pay for my camera gear!

I need a pair of roof trays that will fit onto an OEM VW rack, so if anyone has any, please bring.

Nice, that's about a block from where I live. Don't have anything to sell, but I'll have cash in hand, ready to buy.

On top of being a great way to swap some gear, it's a great way to promote this store. The owner is a nice guy, and I'd love to see his store succeed. Maybe we can also convince him not to close on Sundays.

If any of you guys know someone that needs a starter FR bike, I'm getting rid of my trusty old Big Hit. Turns out, I can't make it to the sale, but can leave my bike with someone who will be there if anybody's interested, or just PM me.

So what's the vibe on this? Lots of people going to be turning out? Seems like the word is getting spread pretty well in the SLC area.

I'm thinking about driving down from Logan to liberate some of my junk before I move in May.

    Brand new Lyrik Coil
    '05 Jamis Dakar 3.0 - 19"
WTB Dual Duty wheels - 150 mm rear, 20 mm front (generic hubs)
Hussefelt 70 mm cranks w/ 83 mm howitzer bottom bracket.
    Kenda Kenetics 2.6" folding beads
    WTB Weirwolfs 2.5" steel beads
Ton 'o WTB seats - brand new from the "shop demo program pack"

and anything else I find laying around. Think it would be worth the trip with this stuff?

Is the plan to park on the street and just spread stuff out on the parking lot? Is that going to freak out the owner?

Who is going to be making coffee runs? I am a little worried about being that far from coffee for three hours.

It was fun in my opinion. But I realized by advertising in Cycle Utah, MTBR, and Craigslist in the bike section that we marketed to the bike fanatics but not a whole lot of everyone else. So there was a plethora of sellers with really really good **** (I would have gone nuts 6 months ago personally) but not a lot of buyers. I personally didn't sell a thing. There were a couple of us who didn't sell anything but especially towards the end of the morning there was quite a bit of commerce happening. I ended up with quite a bit (that is the worst, to end up with a lot more junk rather than less). Deal of the day for me was a $3 super wide not too heave 31.8 handle bar nearly brand new for $3

Here are a ocuple photos, this is from way later after a bunch of cars and people split... Thanks a ton to everyone for coming out... Not sure if we want to do it again. Tough for me because I live all the way in Park City but it would be fun regardless... If we could get it out to regular people then I think it would be a lot of fun, more volume etc. The store was also psyched to have us as well

Nice, well I wish I could have been there. I would have been one of the regular joes just buying stuff, as I don't have much to sell. Oh well, might be a good idea to do again next spring.

I'm just glad someone actually picked up my red Big Hit (AKA Big Red) and looked at it (or maybe they were laughing at it?). Kraner, that White Bros fork is quite the traveler! Hope you made out well! We should definitely do that again!
