So you want to run her as an SS? Get a solid chain tensionner like a Rennen or DMR STS, not a spring loaded one, and you'll be fine. Chain tensionners bolt right onto your derailleur hanger.
Im not sure but I think that the chase 2,3,and 4 all have the same frame just diff components so I wanted to get the single speed one but in not sure what the rear drop out spacing is for the rear hub.
i remember that XSLWill said something about the chase having some bottom bracket thingy that could be adjusted so you could run SS with verticle dropouts. hmmm, i think it was XSLWiLL, maybe someone different tho.
The chase 4 has veritcal dropouts. 135mm spacing(like most hardtails except those that use bmx hubs). It has an eccentric bottom bracket which allows you to lengthen or shorten the chain by up to 7mm, according to the website.
As Snaky mentioned (and I in the past) the Chase 4 has an eccentric BB. The BB rotates in a shell thus you can adjust the chain tension. That's why they can run SS with vertical dropouts and no tensioner.
If you run horizontal dropouts and like to do rear wheel tricks, make sure you use a decent axle-tug type tensioner and true track nuts (not the cheap serrated flange nuts).
