    stp 3

I have been thinking about picking one up but I am wondering if the frame is the same as the 2/3 and the 06s?

I know that in o4/o5 the STP3 frame was different than the STP1 and STP2.

dont get it. I mean its probably an okay beginner bike. but I've seen so many of these cracked. sad part is, people manage to crack the frame...while the SR suntour fork is still on it. the 2 and 1 frames are a bit nicer, maybe just better made ?

i havent seen a single broken STP....no matter the number.... the 3 is of lesser quality material and is missing a couple gussets that the 1 and 2 have.

theres a guy on here, who has cracked 2 of them, go and find him. he has pictures. like the reason is, people ride them pretty hard. when I'm not sure they were meant for that much stress ? Street/Trail/Park ... not DJ and FR. I used to DJ mine, always was awkward when it came to bigger stuff.

I decided to get the stp 3. I dont dirt jump or ride it too hard. Ill mostly just use it for street and Ray's. Once it comes its getting new cranks, wheels/tires, fork and single speeded.

todd, by trail it means dirt jumps....

i'm not to sure what your talking about with them being awkward on dirt jumps, even big ones. i loved mine on trails. ask WCH how he likes his for jumping. i mean hes not a very good resource though, we've all seen how poorly he handles a bike....

    haha

well I'm not sure i'm a great resorce either, becuase sure. I go pretty big at the DJ's but I'm more used to a taller P. frame. the STP was just a little too BMXish. I mean my 24" cruiser for me, felt more stable.
