    Stem length?

I'm order new bars for my STP (stock ones are WAY too skinny).

I'm thinking about a shorter stem as well.

is 40mm too short? the frame seems a bit long to me even with the stock stem (i'm guessing is close to 50mm.

I'd have to go dig up mine but I swear the stock one is around 55 or 60. I'm running a 50mm 0deg rise stem now and am digging it. I'd go as short as you can while still not feeling too cramped but thats just my opinion. The stock stem that came with mine had a rise to it too and just going down to a 0deg made it feel way more solid. For reference the stock Specialized P bikes comes with a 35mm stem (this year at least).
