    Right price / right size

I ride an sx trail for mtb but want a street bike to mess around on. A buddy is selling a nice chace big for a bro deal price. My question is will the fact that the chase frame is a medium not matter because it's a street big and size isn't as important? I'm 6'1" 32 inseam.

    thanks

yes that was the question. I havn't had a chance to try out a larger street bike. The medium Chase feels very short but then again it's a street bike not an xc bike. I looked at the metrics of the bikes and there's not much difference between the sizes. I'll probably borrow the bike for a bit to make sure I like the way it handles. I was just curious if people tended to not worry about the frame sizes as much because a smaller bike is easier to move around than a big one.... Is there a consensus on this?

At 6' 1" a medium should be great. I'm that tall and ALL my bikes are that size. XC, DH, everything.
