    a question of forks

Is there a suspension fork that would be great for street AND allow me to use my existing 24" cruiser wheel? I just built a new wheelset for my cruiser and have decided to make the jump to a mtb since I just feel more comfortable on a mtb. I would really like to just run the existing setup and not have to buy a new front hub. Ability to use a peg would be a plus too.

    Thanks in advance!

Any QR or 3/8 dropout fork will allow you to use your wheel.

Obviously you'll want a frame that takes a 24" rear wheel to go with it.

I thought they were a different sized axle? Will I have to grind down the dropouts to fit, or the axle?

    3/8" and 10mm are interchangeable.

but aren't QR dropouts 9mm? I'm not trying to make this harder than it should be, I'm just seeing 9mm on all the forks I look at.
