wow, you've always got something up the sleeve. Very slick, but this thread is dying for some photos!
Bet that is going to feel WAY different than the Mob though....

I hope to be heading to New Zealand in just a few months actually... was going to be sooner but a few things came out of nowhere unexpected. Cross my fingers things work out. Whafe, Where do you recommend to ride?

Each one is facing opposite directions, which one is right?

Maybe it has arrows for front or rear installation? If not, at least he didn't put his chain on backwards like I did.

BINGO! Rear faces one direction, front faces the other. Not something you'd necessarily be aware of if you hadn't run these tires before.

Are these tires directional or different in any way? I don't see the reason they should be facing opposite directions otherwise. The thread looks directional to me.

Not saying you're wrong, just wondering, they're my next tire probably.

I think it's preference really.... If I ever ran my Tabletop out back I'd run it the same as the front....
haven't turned a tire around like that since the 90's with my tioga psychos.
it may give you a bit more bite when putting the crank down, but might make manuals feel squirrelly or something and minimize braking traction too...

btw, those bolt on drop-outs on the fmxtb are pretty interesting... how it revolves around the top bolt as you slide the bottom to tighten the chain.... very minimal, but wouldn't it lower your bb just a hair if you had it all the way back? I'm sure it would never be noticeable, but still caught my eye as a unique design.
Nicolai's really are beautiful, super high quality no doubt about it... but you think they will ever ditch the huge plate gussets?

They are identical. It appears that Schwalbe designed them such that in one direction they work better for braking and acceleration forces placed on the rear and in the other direction they work better for steering grip. I've never tried to run them in any way other than what is recommended so I can't say for sure what happens when you run them both facing the same direction

FWIW, I really like my table tops for park and dirt jumps that don't have a bunch of loose on them.
