New DJ/Street mtb norco250dirt/p.series/santa cruz jackal/eastern night train
I ride mainly xc but sometimes check out the jumps and other freeride stuff at the local park on my xc rig. I'm afraid my xc rig probably won't hold up to some of the stuff I'm riding now, so I'm looking to get a bike more suitable for only urban/dj/freeride. Of the bikes in the title, which would probably work best for me for mainly urban riding with some dj'ing based on only components and performance of the bike? I'm 5'10" 190lbs.

If you choose Norco 250, strongly recommended to get S size! M size is actually stupid, very long. Don't flickable.
I vote for nighttrain...

none of the above. well, i voted for the eastern as the only steel bike on your list.

I had a P.2 and I do miss it I sold it for some cash to put money down on my Heckler and it was a dumb mistake, cause know I miss having my P.2 for running around town. I liked my P.2 but it was kind of heavy around 37 lbs I think. I am in the market for a DJ myself and I have looked at the Jackal, Chameleon, T.O.P., Vagrant, Yeti DJ, and P.2's If I can find a P.2 reasonably priced used I might just pick one of those up. But I am also keeping my options open just in case Uncle Sam sends me my economy stimulation check I might actually buy new
2007'ish Heckler and 2006 Chameleon
If anyone needs the help of a prototype/custom machinist let me know.

Ok! Get Norco 250 size S or Nighttrain.
Personally have no idea about Santa Cruz because never seen it...

From what I have heard the Jackal is more of a DJ bike not very good at manualing. That's just what I have heard though so take it with a grain of salt...

The Norco is the best bike listed up there. I'd get the M/L version at your height.

from ones on your list, the eastern. from any bike, a black market.
