I'll have one up by christmas time, I'll have a few upgrades to my ride, that'll both make it lighter and sexier.

not that we don't appreciate looking at a nice bike and all, but could you be any more of a queer with all these different threads with your bike in the yard or up against a tree, or is is with bright light or low light, now the bike is in the foreground and then in the background, the bike is on the couch then off the couch, here's my bike with a redbull now with a monster...

Do you sit down when you ride your bike around the streets? I run mine almost vertical too.

I agree with running the lever straight down. It promotes proper form.

I learned it from riding motocross. You'll loose the bars out of your hand if you are standing and you drop your wrist in order to raise your fingers to grab a lever that is too high. Otherwise when it is almost vertical you barely have to move your fingers at all to engaged the lever, and you don't have to move your hand. It motocross 101... and honestly there is no reason why it doesn't help on bikes too.
