KHS DJ300 - Rigid Fork Possible?

I'm looking to build a DJ/Park bike for my son and there's a possibility of getting a KHS DJ300 frame. Can I put a rigid fork instead of a suspension fork on this frame? It will be his first DJ/Park bike and I'm trying to keep it as light (and cheap) as possible. Thanks.

It is possible. There are a few options. Im not sure how solid of a park bike that will be. Should be ok for dirt but there are better all around options out there. IMO

How old is your son? How tall? Have you considered a bmx bike. They will be lighter and most likely cheaper than a mtb dj

After further research, I'm going to go with a BMX bike as cglasford suggested. I might end up buying the KHS for me so I can go riding with him, as my MTB is not well suited for this type of riding. Thanks.

Awesome sounds like a solid plan! I'm sure your son will love a bmx bike... I'm almost 30 and still ride a 20 inch from time to time!
