    You need one of these and one of these.

    If you have a removal tool, you might be able to hold the cassette with a rag and loosen the locknut.

    Eh, you really do need the chainwhip and cassette lockring. removal tool. Chainwhip prevents it from freewheeling, so that you can remove the lockring.

    If you have an old chain laying around that would be used anymore, you can easily adapt it along with a pair of vice grips, its just so that you can keep the cassette from moving.
