    whats your price limit ?

Most DJ/park bikes arent going to work well at all for XC. my P.series does an OK job, really it kinda sucks. kona OB hardtails are a tiny bit more XC rideable, but that makes for a bad ride in the park. they are decient at DJ's though. Depends on your pricelimit. but I would strongly suggest a GT ruckus UF or UF 24" they're pretty strong and lack the fluff that would brake from a new rider (face it, learning ...you're gunna crash a couple of times.)

I might also add a Giant STP to the list of suggestions.

DOC would work for both. And please do not call it jibbing
The officer saw the words, "This Bike Is a Pipe Bomb" and became concerned.

Word. A DOC w/ a 3" fork is dope, that's how I rode mine. W/ the 4" fork on my buddies it's too tall.

my price limit would be around 600 and then plus about 350 or 400 from the sale of my xc, if i could ride my new potential jib bike on some singletrack, so say 1000 and yes i realize im going to crash and die for awhile thats why im looking for something more on the bomb proof end of things so im not replacing parts every weekend
